Christmas part 2...

Surprise! My family got together for our Christmas yesterday. And I was surprised by my younger brother and his family showing up from Idaho Falls! The last time we saw them was in July. Our entire family was together for the first time since last Christmas. It was wonderful! There are six grandkids now, not including Rose. It was a full house! Time to move Mom & Dad!
My gorgeous niece Baeya!
Eric playing w/Dom. Baeya & Dom. My yummy nephew Ethan! My sister Katie & sis-in-law, Mary.Katie & Erik Woods. This is funny! So my Mom comes into the living room and tells us Moms to come downstairs w/our cameras ready...we go into the room and this is what we find...Evie & Baeya on the bed...they got into some fake decorative presents...they opened them all and the papers were all over the bed...Dom was on the other side of the bed saying "Up, up". He missed out.Dom got more tools from Grandma & Grandpa.Chris and Tamy opening gifts for Joseph...the baby on his lap. My parents found this hillarious sweatshirt for Vince.Mom and Dad.A few years ago, my Dad started this tradition of giving 12 gifts to my Mom and we'd all sing the song "Twelve Days of Christmas" but we'd say the presents she'd gotten.
Well, this year my parents decided to do it for Katie. It was pretty funny! Katie loved it!Isn't my Mom pretty! We got her one of her favorite xmas movies "Santa Claus the Movie". This was made when I was first born.My parents got me a couple shirts. This is one of them.
It was a fabulous Christmas this year! We had two separate xmas' but they were both special. Family is wonderful this time of year!
I learned too that Christmas isn't just Dec. 25th. You can make any day Christmas w/Christ in your heart and by remembering him.
Before we opened presents, my Mom did a short FHE lesson for the kids about finding Christ. It was really sweet.
It just made the rest of the day so much better! Christmas isn't just about presents. It's about remembering Christ and being w/family and loved ones. Enjoying the important things.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
