L's 1st Birthday!

My sis-in-law, Mary designed the invitations! They turned out so great! Thank you so much Mar! We're sorry you couldn't be here! We missed Chris and Tamy too!

What an awesome day it was yesterday! Our sweet princess turned ONE. I can't believe it! We decided to have the party at our house and it turned out perfectly! My mother made her cake and it was gorgeous! We did a princess theme, because she's our little princess!!!

My wonderful Mother made the cake from scratch! It turned out beautiful Mom, thank you!

We bbq'd and my hubby cooked. People brought food to contribute and everyone had such a great time!

"L" got lots of new clothes and her first toys! We don't have any toys for her. She's been playing w/brother's toys. So, now we have a start of some pink and girly toys. I LOVE IT!
Bug did so good! He sat next to me and handed the presents to "L". I was proud of him!

The weather turned out perfect. I thought it was going to rain, but thanks to the magical thunder and lightening storm on Friday night, it didn't.

My neighbor loaned us a fun kids table w/the bench seats. It came in handy! They also let us borrow some of their chairs. She was so sweet and offered to take Bug for a walk while we were setting up for the party! Bug enjoyed it and we needed to get him out of our hair for a little while!

"L" LOVED her 3 cupcakes that she pretty much inhaled. It was so much fun to watch her in his moment.

We had a fun family photo w/both kids covered in frosting.

Vince and I were surprised that Wendy (sis-in-law) and cousin Lucy were there to celebrate! They weren't supposed to be here until today...so we thought! It was a great surprise!Wendy offered to take pictures of the party. She even set up a little photo scene w/"L's" balloons and presents infront of the rose bush. The pictures turned out so pretty!
