Halloween

We had a blast this Halloween! Bug is at such a fun age and he was so excited to go trick-or-treating!
This is also our first Halloween w/L too!
Bug was a Giraffe (not a COW) and L was a Witch!

PUMPKIN CARVING:
We didn't carve pumpkins until Halloween!
Bug was so eager to help and he did a great job "wink, wink".
He didn't like cleaning out the pumpkin seeds and getting dirty :)

The finished product:
Cat, small pumpkin and one-eared bat (Vince and the bat had a fight and the bat lost :(

Our cute little Giraffe!

and our beautiful Witch!

PUMPKIN PATCH:
Halloween morning we were so excited to take the kids to Greenbluff to Siemers Pumpkin Patch. They have a huge slide, hay rides, train, maze and tons of other awesome stuff!
We pulled in at about 10am....AND THEY WERE CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!
So, we looked for another place w/fun stuff for the kids. We found Walter's in Greenbluff and it turned out great! They didn't have a lot of activities, but they did have the wiggle worm train for the lil one's, a corn maze, goats, bbq and a sand box (filled w/peas) for the kids to play in!
We payed $3 for Bug to ride the wiggle worm. It was awesome and Bug LOVED IT!

Front of the train

back of the train :)

There he goes!

Then we head over to a small pumpkin patch

L was excited to see all the pumpkins!

I couldn't get a pic of both kids...L was cranky and tired!

Bug was more than eager to pose for me :)

Look at that face! What happened to my baby boy :(

Bug loved getting a pic w/mommy of course!

Our first stop trick-or-treating was to Aunt Katie and Uncle Erik's

Pic of Bug and Aunt Zoe :)

Uncle Erik and Dom.

Thanks to my sister, I ended up wearing a costume :)
Me and my little witch!

There's a smile! We were at Nana and Papa's!
They got the kids these glow sticks! Dom's was orange and L's was Pink :)
After this we headed up the hill to the Ritzy houses and Dom had his first experience trick-or-treating door to door!
Sissy was so tired so we called it a night!

Cute pictures! Too bad Siemer's was closed, but looks like you guys had lots of fun at Walter's. Nice costumes, and yeah he's totally a giraffe, not a cow. ;)

Your kids look adorable! Dom makes such a great Giraffe . . .

We love greenbluff too- it is a family tradition to go there every year, even living here in yakima! Too bad Siemers was closed for you. We went to Walter's this year too- the kids absolutely LOVED the big play area with the peas!

I hope you have learned your lesson. If you want to do something seasonal, you do it before that day, not the morning of!!!

Love staying up to date with your family Renee, great job. Your kids look great too. A pumpkin patch, that is pretty cool.

GREAT costumes. And closed for the season!!! NO WAY!!! Halloween being on a Saturday I would have been sure it would have been open on Halloween!

Your kids are so cute. I agree the costume is a giraffe...whoever said it was a cow needs to have their eyes examined LOL. I love the picture of you and L together mommy and daughter witches too cute.

Hey Renee
Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day. I am so bad at posting that I rarely get comments when I actually do post.

I too can't believe that Seimers was closed. That's where we always went when we were there. We have a great pumpkin patch hear that is less than 10minutes from us and we go there every year and the kids love it. It has all the fun stuff for the kids too.
Your kiddos looked sooo cute. That witch costume is adorable.

That will be so fun for you and Jandre to go to the midnight viewing. I'd love to go but the midnight viewing here was all sold out mid Oct. so we'll be hitting it the week of Thanksgiving.
Have a great time and have a great Thanksgiving!!!
